Holiday Gift Guide 2021

Can we all take a moment to have a collective sigh over this holiday season? COVID is still very much here, there is zero snow, and my gift guide is painfully late. As I have mentioned in my recent wallpapers, I have been pouring myself into my career, meeting new people, and fostering my beloved friendships. I have loved this season in life. I have taken to this moment with the mindset of complete abundance, and have said yes to just about everything that has crossed my path. What I have come to realize though, is that by saying yes to everything, I am often times saying no to myself and allowing myself to be spread too thinly.

I love and take pride in my gift guides; they take months for me to develop, and I think carefully about the people who read them and make buying decisions based on them. This year I had originally planned for my holiday gift guide to have 300 product recommendations spanning across multiple categories. You can probably guess where this is going. I have been murdering myself to be and do everything I want to be right now, and it’s just not sustainable. So, I am using this opportunity to start honoring the gift of exercising boundaries and introduce some compromise.

Behold, my abbreviated, but entirely heartfelt gift guide. I have merged products that span across my typical categories: small business, women’s, men’s, has everything, etc. I realize that this late in the game, ordering is a bear. BUT, I am always one to offer ideas to get your brain going, and I hope you find this year’s approach enjoyable if not helpful.

Take care of your god damn self, because wow nobody’s going to do that work for us guys.
