Happy March to everyone but Putin.

We are entering this new month with global heartbreak and outcry as Russia pursues a naked reach for power in Ukraine. While I will not be your news source on the matter, I will be your friendly neighborhood emotional intelligence barometer. We know the implications of this invasion will bring rippling global implications as the international community unifies to stop Putin and protect Ukraine.

Amidst the pain of watching this unfold, it has been heartening, and downright surprising to see how global citizens, spanning across many different political parties and ideologies, have surrounded Ukraine in support. Even if only recognizing the breadth and depth of Putin’s unbridled madness. And for this, I’m proud of collective consciousness.

To see the Ukrainian’s immediate and unwavering response to, individually, protect their country and freedom is a breathtaking depiction of bravery and patriotism. Zelenskyy, and other Ukrainian leaders fighting boots on the ground alongside fellow citizens. That, leaves a wordy woman speechless. Ukraine will prevail during this unfathomable feat, and we will live to see peace in Europe.
