August Wallpaper of the Month

July is over, bringing a new month, and for many, a new school year. I realized that this is my first non-academic August, my first as an “adult.” Every August before this one was filled with book buying, supply stocking, and goal-setting. Now that I am no longer a student, the books that I keep are looking less like the textbooks I once read , and more like the ones depicted in this month’s wallpaper. As adults, we don’t have to learn things in the way we had to as students. Now, we mostly learn because we are curious, and because we want to improve ourselves and our skills. August’s wallpaper is a nod to the “adult textbook.” Everything that we want to read, and nothing we don’t. Hot damn!
