At long last, our beloved Sephora sale has arrived. And the high frequency sheik that errupted out of my mouth set car alarms off. Once I regained a normal heart rate, I settled in to plan my purchases. For weeks I have been speculating when this sale would happenIf you’re like me, you budget for this semi-annual sale months before it rolls around. Because this sale is so highly anticipated throughout the beauty community, I thought I would give you a guide to shopping the sale, as well as the products I have been loving that are available in the sale. What is the Sephora VIB Sale?

The Sephora VIB Sale is the only storewide sale that Sephora has. It happens twice a year, and what percentage off your purchase is determined by your status (eye roll) in their reward program. Those with Insider status, the lowest on the totem pole, get 10% off, VIB 15%, and VIB Rouge 20%. Your status in Sephora’s reward program is determined by how much money you spend, converted into a point system where every dollar you spend counts as either 1 point as an Insider, 1.25 points as a VIB, or 1.5 points as a Rouge. Clearly, this program rewards those who spend most. But regardless of where you rank in Sephora’s reward program, this is a great opportunity to save money at our favorite luxury beauty supplier.
