May Wallpaper of the Month
Don’t tell me it’s May, I don’t believe it. I write this in the midst of a late April snow storm after weeks of summer-like conditions, which may have something to do with my disbelief. Everyone moans about the inconviences of April snow, but I find it one of the definitive attributes of a Colorado Spring. A late snow brings the promise of healthy, hydrated soil to support the new season. My selection for May’s Wallpaper is what I imagine as the fruits of a frosted Spring. A thriving green garden with happy little occupants dancing amongst the grass. This too, is one of my “Happy Places, but one where the earth has absorbed the nutrients of the damp days. This, is May.
